Your phone offers a wide range of functions that are grouped in menus. Most of the menu functions are provided with a brief help text. To view the help text, scroll to the desired menu function and wait for about 15 seconds.
Your device supports the sending and receiving of text messages beyond the normal 160-character limit. If your message, which also can contain pictures, exceeds 160 characters, it will be sent as a series of two or more messages (multipart message). Invoicing may be based on the number of ordinary messages that are required for a multi-part message.
You can send and receive e-mails, and access the Internet when your phone is connected to a compatible PC via an IR or Bluetooth wireless connection. You can use your phone with a variety of PC connectivity and data communications applications. With PC Suite you can, for example, synchronise contacts, calendar and notes between your phone and the compatible PC or a remote Internet server (network service).
Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. When the talk and standby times are noticeably shorter than normal, buy a new battery. Contact the authorised service facility for replacement battery. Do not attempt to do it yourself. Use only Nokia approved batteries, and recharge your battery only with Nokia approved chargers designated for this device.
